Feb 20th 2022 !⃝ as a person who constantly suffers from anxiety disorder, I think this song is about the same. it talks about the suffocating feeling of being trapped in your mind forever with this feeling of anxiety which is often accompanied by overthinking; hence, 'the gun still rattles', meaning that the overthinking about what happened still runs in your head. while 'guns' represent the action that has happened which affected you, 'spirits' represent the traumatic thoughts in your head that still persists even after the incident or the event happened long ago.
